At Leigh North Street Primary School (LNSPS), we promote a culture which reflects our Core Values - we call these values, ASPIRE (Acceptance, Safety, Perseverance, Independence, Respect and Enjoyment). Central to LNSPS' success, is the shared vision of our hard-working and talented staff, parents, governors and wider stakeholders, who often work in collaboration to ensure that quality learning experiences are consistently afforded to our young learners. Through regular consultation, our children are actively encouraged to have a say in what and how they learn.

Our philosophy is that quality learning experiences are not limited to the classroom. We are extremely fortunate in our central Leigh on Sea location and readily capitalise on all that this unique coastal community has to offer. Woven into the curriculum are countless opportunities to access local amenities - visits to the beach, Belfairs Woods, Leigh Gardens are just some examples. Additionally, we believe it essential that children’s learning should take them beyond their immediate and familiar locale. Consequently, your child will have the opportunity to experience London or even further afield as well as engaging in over- night trips and more lengthy residential excursions so that they have further opportunity to develop their interdependence.
